Windows setup and startup

Install the Windows player and choose normal or dedicated signage operation.

Windows playback

  1. Download the installer from a successful Player builds run and install it using the organisation’s supported signing/build instructions.
  2. Pair it with a screen and keep the PC online while files download. Startup runs after the Windows user signs in.
  3. Player 0.12.1 supports Dedicated kiosk under the screen’s Device controls. It restores full-screen, always-on-top playback and prevents normal window close.
  4. Choose Normal player in the CMS to release takeover, or press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Q on the PC. This is app-level recovery, not Windows OS lockdown.
